What We’re Building Together

Our Current Focus & Developmental Pathway

We are beginning with the ages where the need — and the opportunity for impact — is greatest: Elementary Girls, Middle School Girls, Teen Leadership, and Sports-Based Empowerment. Our prenatal through toddler programs are part of our projected growth, ensuring we one day serve the full spectrum of girlhood.

Elementary Girls (6–10)

Foundational yoga and breathwork, feelings vocabulary, and belonging circles—naming emotions and practicing with language reflecting kindness and compassion for self and others.

Middle School Girls (11–13)

Yoga philosophy in action (Yamas/Niyamas): Ahimsa (non-violence), Satya (truthfulness), and Asteya (non-stealing). Introduce journaling techniques to harness breath and wisdom as a form of agency in friendships, school stress, and online life.

Teen Leadership (14–17)

Mentorship roles with younger cohorts, facilitation skills, advanced regulation practices, and ethical leadership (empathy, accountability, service). Options to train to publicly speak for Girls on the Mat or become a GOTM Facilitator.

Sports‑Based Empowerment (Middle & High School Athletes)

Team integrations with coaches: focus, recovery, and culture. Tools for performance anxiety, communication, trust, and resilience—on and off the field.

Future Growth: The Full Developmental Pathway

Once established, Girls on the Mat will expand to reach girls from their earliest days: The Becoming (prenatal bonding), Baby & Mama on the Mat (0–2), and Toddler & Mama on the Mat (3–5). Each stage will be intentionally designed to meet girls where they are — physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually.

Become a Facilitator

Girls on the Mat is growing—and we’re inviting committed facilitators to invest in the intensive training I’ve created.

You’ll learn: nervous system literacy, trauma‑informed yoga, age‑specific curriculum, group facilitation skills, philosophy‑rooted ethics, implementation pathways for schools, teams, and studios.

About the training: This facilitator training is one of the first offerings to emerge from my soon-to-be-launched school, alongside my signature RYT-200 certification—a program intentionally designed for deep emotional and existential healing. Both are built with the same purpose: to equip leaders with the insight, skills, and heart to bring Girls on the Mat into their own communities and change the future of girlhood.

Become an Assistant

Our Assistant Training is the perfect entry point for women who want to be in the room, supporting girls and living the GOTM mission — without the full responsibility of leading.

You will learn the foundations of GOTM’s trauma-informed approach, how to support lead facilitators, and how to create a safe and encouraging space for girls. You’ll practice hands-on support skills, learn our activity flow, and understand how to step in when a girl needs extra care or encouragement.

As an Assistant, you’ll be the calm presence that helps the day run smoothly — setting up spaces, guiding transitions, and offering one-on-one support when needed. You’ll also model the self-awareness and compassion we hope to inspire in every participant.

This role is ideal for women exploring a future as a GOTM Teacher or who simply want to serve in a meaningful, supportive capacity. After training, you’ll be eligible to assist at GOTM events, camps, and classes in your community.
